Criteria for the awards:

• a. Applicants who completed 35 years of age are eligible to apply for these excellence awards. Those who have at least five years of experience in the above said area of herbal research can apply for excellence awards. Last date for receiving application is 31.08.2025.
• b. A brief bio data of the applicant should be attached for showing information on academics and the area of research and experience.
• c. Applicants should submit original research paper specific to the nature of excellence (Example: Research paper related to ruminant research should be submitted for ISEVHR Excellence Award in Ruminant Research).  For each excellence award, each applicant should submit only one research paper for presentation.
• d. Full length original research paper may be sent (typewritten in MS Word, Times New Roman, font size 12 pt, and 1.5 line spacing in A4 size paper) with Introduction, Materials and methods, Results& Discussions, Summary, Acknowledgment and References for applying to these awards.
• e. The full papers should not exceed 4 printed pages. Word limit for Research Article is 2500 words, including tables, graphs etc.
• f. One applicant can apply for a maximum of two of the above said awards. However, applicant applying for pet animal research excellence should not apply for ruminant research excellence award.
• g. There should be at least three contestants for each award.
• h. The competing applicant should be the first author of the research paper which will be presented before the panel of three judges for consideration.
• i. The presenter will be given 10 minutes for presentation and three minutes for discussion before judging committee.
• j. The Organizing Secretary of the conference/General Secretary of ISEVHR may constitute a committee with three judges for selection of best paper. The judges should be life members of the society.
• k. The research paper to be presented should be the own research of the candidate presenting for the award.
• l. The presenter should be the life member of the society. The applicant should possess life membership at the time of presentation for consideration for presenting the paper.
• m. The presenting work should have obtained clearance from IAEC/CCSEA/IBSC in case of requirement. A proof of clearance needs to be attached for ready reference if required.
• n. The certificate with signature of all authors needs to be enclosed for authentication and willingness.
• o. The research paper to be submitted needs to be authenticated by Guide/Head of Institute by an undertaking/authentication letter.
• p. These awards are to be given as Certificate and Citation.
• q. The Executive Committee of the society will finalize selection for excellence award based on the merit of the paper and presenter.
• r. These awards will be given during the valedictory function of the conference.
