The Lifetime Achievement Award is a recognition of remarkable and enduring contributions to the field, demonstrating sustained excellence, significant impact, and often, leadership and mentorship.
Veterinary professionals aged over 60 years are eligible for nomination. Achievements in the development of Ethno Veterinary Herbal Research, along with academic background, will be considered for this prestigious honor. The executive committee will nominate candidates, and the final selection will be made by the President.
The award includes a certificate and citation, and will be announced during the inauguration of the conference.
Criteria for Selection
- Sustained and Significant Contributions:
- Longevity: Contributions should span at least 20 years or more of the individual’s career.
- Impact: Demonstrable and lasting influence on the field, including practices, policies, or knowledge advancement.
- Quality of Work: High-quality work that showcases excellence and innovation in the field.
- Leadership and Mentorship:
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership, either formally through roles or informally through influence.
- Mentorship: Evidence of guiding and mentoring future professionals in the field.
- Recognition and Influence:
- Recognition: Awards, honors, or notable publications from recognized institutions or bodies.
- Influence: Significant impact on the direction and development of Ethno Veterinary Herbal Research.
- Disciplinary Action:
- Individuals who have faced disciplinary action are not eligible for this award.
